Atmos Chrást installed three 22kW frequency inverter compressors for Lear Corporation at its plant in Plavecké Štvrtek, Slovakia. The installed Danfoss (LINK) inverter from Denmark adapts the compressor motor speed to the actual air demand. This means that with lower compressed air requirements, less electricity is consumed.
The three SEC 221 Vario compressors are built into an integrated air station together with the compressed air treatment accessories. This primarily means condensation dryers and filters for dry and oil-free compressed air.
Lear Corporation also emphasizes green solutions by adding the Atmos Rekutherm heat recovery system. Rekutherm uses waste heat from compressors to heat the factory in the winter.
Major energy savings are also achieved by monitoring the compressor station using the Atmos Archon 3 master control system. This switches and controls the compressors according to the amount of compressed air needed in the factory at any given time.
The combination of all these factors guarantees maximum environmentally friendly production. At the same time, the large energy savings ensure a very fast return on investment for our customers.
